AIP Conference Proceedings report findings presented at many of the most important scientific meetings around the world
Published proceedings are valuable as topical status reports providing quick access to information before it appears in the traditional journal literature
The Workshop "Diffraction 2010" was the sixth of a series of biennal events dedicated to the study of diffractive processes in high-energy physics. The purpose of the Workshop was to review both experimental and theoretical aspects of diffraction in high energy physics, to discuss new developments and to identify significant progress. The main topics which were covered included diffraction in electron-proton, in hadron-hadron and in heavy ion collisions, forward physics at the hadron colliders, low-x physics at the LHC, perturbative QCD and spin physics.
