Anticipations is a no holds barred explanation of Wells' vision of the New Republic. It contains themes of the "New Republic", a system of world governance and scientific control. He attempts to predict the future, a fascinating mix of accurate forecasts - development of cars, buses and trucks, use of flying machines in combat, decline of permanent marriage - and wild misses and more.Herbert George "H.
