This is the story of the fascinating King David. It begins when he is born and a curious scene occurs around his crib. As their seven brothers were older they went with their father Jesse to the countryside to take care of the sheep, to work in agriculture, to fish and sell sheep and their wool, etc. David stayed at home with his mother, Nitzevet, and she taught him the Hebrew letters and also taught him how to do household chores.
