Throughout my life I have experienced a magnitude ofopportunities that brought me to my knees and catapultedme to surrender myself to the Divine Power of the Universe. It has been a powerful journey of continual CHANGE,HEALING and SERENITY. Many people have asked me toshare this information in book form. Although I was unsureof my own capabilities, I have known in my heart I wantedto "e;gift back"e; the pearls of wisdom that have been gifted tome, I just didn't know when or how. Initially the thought ofbeing able to convey my story in a way that would benefitothers was a daunting task. Eventually I came to the resolutionof writing She Thought, She Could, She Did, with thedesire of inspiring others and providing them with keys ofchange that unlock and invoke healing. The book was written with the intention of motivatingothers and presenting people with tools to enhance theirown lives. Facing numerous health challenges and otherobstacles along the way, my journey became a miraculoustransformation from 'victimhood' into what I have coinedas 'victorious-hood.' Sharing some of my personal storieshas been a deeply humbling experience. Writing this bookbrought me a sense of vulnerability. At times while composingthis memoir I would catch myself feeling utterlyexposed, as if I was stark naked in public. Being open andhonest, intimately revealing my multi-faceted self has beenone of my most courageous and breath-taking experiencesthus far. I share what I share in hopes of spreading informationand guidance for people seeking healing. In thinkingabout exposing myself to the public domain, my ego wouldsay, "e;are you crazy?"e; yet the blueprint of this book wasalready in my DNA. I was twenty-eight years old sitting in a doctor's officeabout to sign another permission form for a third back surgerywhen I first heard a gentle yet strong Angelic Voice say,"e;Judy, no more!"e; An overwhelming sense of shock and fearlessnesscame over me. The pen I was holding dropped frommy fingers. I stood up abruptly and politely excused myselffrom the doctor's office. Intuitively I knew I was ready toeradicate my dependency on pain medication for good. Isurrendered my life to God, and at that moment I experiencedan immediate shift in consciousness that jolted everycell of my being. Two days later I had an appointment withan iridologist, who later became my mentor. It was duringthis visit that the doors of natural healing swung wide openand I was reborn. I am a walking testament to the power ofprayer, direct divine healing, knowing answers will alwayscome, and embracing them when they do. I encourage you toaccept the unacceptable, love the unlovable and believe allthings are possible. "e;SHE THOUGHT. SHE COULD. SHE DID. HealingWithin"e; is a memoir. I will describe how I learned the directconnection between our mind and emotions and the rolethese two play on our physical health. Our emotional andmental state is often the initial cause of physical ailments. My journey has led me to uncover the hidden connectionsbetween the mind, body, and spirit. I have come to understandand accept wholeheartedly, that mending my soul (myspiritual self), is an essential part of the healing process. Our thoughts, questions, and desires impact ourexistence, as the Universe responds to our vibrations. Weare also granted the opportunity to learn from others whoencourage and help us along our paths. Wherever our ownindividual adventure may lead, healing and well-being isalways available for us.
