Mohammad Shahriar engaged in teaching and research at Department of Pharmacy, University of Asia Pacific (UAP), Bangladesh since 2005. He completed his Bachelor in the field of Pharmacy and completed his Master in the field of both Pharmaceutical Technology and Biotechnology.
The effect of Proteinase-k on extracted genomic DNA of gram positive strains were tried to know here and found that Bacillus cereus and Staphylococcus aureus had significant effect where as Bacillus subtilis did not show any major impact on total DNA concentration. The research has been done in the Department of Pharmacy, University of Asia Pacific, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The department is continuing its research activities since its inception in different fields likely Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Phytochemistry etc. Every year a number of research articles are being published in different reputed journals both national and internationally. The main author Mohammad Shahriar, Assistant Professor UAP has published a number of research articles in national and international journals in the field of Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Phytochemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology. The Second author Mr. Mohammad Fahim Kadir, Assistant Professor UAP is the author of number of research articles regarding ethnomedicine, neuropharmacology and drug dosage formulations.
