Arimi Kayode is a graduate of the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. He obtained a master of science degree in 2008 and is almost completing his Ph.D degree programme from the University of Ibadan where he works as a teaching and research assistant at the General Studies Programme Unit.

Climate change is currently threatening human existence throughout the world. The emerging realities and evidences from various research findings emphasize the need to adapt to climate change for continuous human existence. This book is prepared and introduced as a means to exposing researchers, development planners and students to the various aspects of climate change adaptation and its mitigation processes to advance frontiers in the troubled spots of human service systems, particular in agriculture and food security. The book is a compendium of ideas, facts and methods with sufficient practical information on the subject matter to enable leaders have a basic knowledge and understanding of coping mechanisms to climate change for better agricultural production. Although some of the information in the book may be available from various sources, the teaching and research materials have been carefully synthesized to provide a convenient digest of contemporary knowledge.
