The gender ideology reflects the existing gender inequalities and also influences gender-based behaviour, which, in turn, helps sustain gender ideology. Furthermore, on condition that women accept the supremacy of men, they would not resist patriarchal sight and deeds, which put them at a disadvantage in every step of her life. The roots of health inequalities are many, interconnected and complex. In line with socio-biologist, the health inequalities being linked to genetic and biological differences, social variables have been identified as a source of health inequalities. The analysis would help to have deeper insight with regard to the inequity in health care and provoke new ideas for further research.
