Katharina Grosse (*1961, Freiburg i. Br.), eine der profiliertesten Malerinnen der internationalen Gegenwartskunst, studierte an der Kunstakademie Mu¨nster und an der Akademie in Du¨sseldorf, wo sie von 2010 bis 2018 eine Professur innehatte. Ihre Arbeiten wurden in renommierten Museen, u. a. im Museum of Fine Arts in Boston (2019), in der Nationalgalerie Prag (2018), im chi K11 art museum in Shanghai (2018) oder im Rahmen des Programms des MoMA PS1 in New York (2016) sowie auf mehreren Biennalen, u.a. in Aarhus(2017), in Venedig (2015) und in Curitiba (2013), gezeigt.

JONATHAN MONK (*1969, Leicester) ist ein zeitgenössischer Konzeptkünstler, der sich in seiner Arbeit vor allem mit Konzeptkunst und Minimalismus des 20. Jahrhunderts auseinandersetzt, sie reinterpretiert und zugleich konterkariert. Er arbeitet mit unterschiedlichsten Medien wie Fotografie, Bildhauerei, Video, Performance und Mail Art, häufig aber auch mit »Printed Matter« - ephemeren Druckerzeugnissen.

THOMAS SCHÜTTE (*1954, Oldenburg) studierte bei Fritz Schwegler und Gerhard Richter an der Kunstakademie Du¨sseldorf und ist fu¨r seine Zusammenfu¨hrung architektonischer und bildhauerischer Elemente bekannt. 2005 wurde er auf der Biennale di Venezia als bester Ku¨nstler ausgezeichnet.

ERWIN WURM (*1954, Bruck an der Mur) hinterfragt seit u¨ber 25 Jahren unser Verständnis von Skulptur. In physischen Deformationen kommt eine Auseinandersetzung mit den Banalitäten und Zwängen unserer Gegenwart zum Ausdruck. Sein Werk wird vielfach international ausgestellt und ist in einigen der bedeutendsten Sammlungen weltweit vertreten. Wurm lebt und arbeitet in Wien und im niederösterreichischen Limberg.

Over the past twenty years, since theory has begun scrutinizing the concept of sculpture itself, the genre has been experiencing a new renaissance as an artistic form of expression. ELMGREEN (*Denmark) & DRAGSET (*Norway) have been working together since 1995. In their works, they deal with socio-cultural and political topics, such as upbringing and aging, gay rights, the construction of identity, consumer culture, and the privatization of public space. The artist duo has been awarded several prizes, including the 2002 Preis der Nationalgalerie in Berlin and a Special Mention at the 2009 Biennale di Venezia

Katharina Grosse (*1961, Freiburg i. Br.), one of the most distinguished painters of international contemporary art, studied at the Kunstakademie Münster and at the Akademie in Düsseldorf, where she held a professorship from 2010 to 2018. Her works have been shown in renowned museums, including the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston (2019), the National Gallery in Prague (2018), the chi K11 art museum in Shanghai (2018) or as part of the MoMA PS1 program in New York (2016), as well as at several biennials, including Aarhus(2017), Venice (2015) and Curitiba (2013).

THOMAS SCHÜTTE (*1954, Oldenburg) studied with Fritz Schwegler and Gerhard Richter at the Düsseldorf Art Academy and is known for his special combination of architectural and sculptural elements. In 2005 he was awarded as best artist at the Biennale di Venezia.
