Julia Solis: Jahrgang 1964, lebt seit 1977 in den USA; Studium der Philosophie an der University of California in Los Angeles, seitdem als Übersetzerin und Autorin tätig; 1998 gründete sie das Projekt "Dark Passage", mit dem sie das Ziel verfolgt, den New Yorker Untergrund zu erforschen und dort künstlerische Events zu veranstalten; seit 1999 erscheinen regelmäßig Artikel und fotografische Arbeiten über die unterirdische Welt New Yorks.
Martina Gedeck, 1964 in München geboren, zählt zu den erfolgreichsten deutschen Film- und Fernsehschauspielerinnen. Nach ihrer Theaterlaufbahn, die sie an große Häuser in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Berlin und Basel brachte, wurde sie 1994 mit der Komödie Der bewegte Mann einem breiten Publikum bekannt.
