Bublitz, HanneloreProf. Dr. Hannelore Bublitz is professor of general sociology, social sciences, and social philosophy at the University of Paderborn since 1995. She was the spokesperson of the Research Training Group "Automatisms" at the University of Paderborn. Her work focuses on dynamics of self-management and normalization in modern societies, the intersection of social technologies and economies in mass culture, and technologies of the body, gender, and the self.
Friedberger, VanessaVanessa Friedberger is a doctoral student at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg and has been working as a research assistant on the "Music-Voice-Speech" project. Her work focuses on aesthetic education and underlying differences between artists and educators.

Hill, MarcDr. Marc Hill is assistant professor in the teaching and research area of migration and education at the University of Innsbruck. His research focuses on migration, diversity and education. Central in his academic research are perspectives on the city and migration with an eye to phenomena of marginalization as well as the development of post-migrant and multiple-home, hybrid visions of belonging.

Hofmann, FabianFabian Hofmann, Dr. phil., ist Professor für ästhetische Bildung und Erziehung in der Kindheit an der Fliedner Fachhochschule Düsseldorf. Er studierte nach einer Schreinerlehre Kunstpädagogik, Kunstgeschichte und Psychologie an der Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen. Anschließend war er an der Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt tätig, zunächst als Volontär, später als Abteilungsleiter Bildung und Vermittlung. Zu seinen Forschungsinteressen gehören die ästhetische Erfahrung und der pädagogische Umgang mit Kunstwerken. Seine Promotion über Interaktion im Museum wurde prämiert mit dem Arnold-Vogt-Preis für Museumspädagogik.

IJdens, TeunisTeunis IJdens, Dr., is a sociologist and policy analist. He studied graphic design at the Academies of Art in Arnheim and Enschede and sociology at the University of Nijmegen. He has worked as a researcher at the universities of Tilburg and Rotterdam. He published numerous studies and evaluation and monitoring reports on cultural and arts policies. Since 2008 he was employed by the Center of Expertise for Cultural Education (Cultuurnetwerk Nederland) and its successor the Netherlands Centre of Expertise for Cultural Education and Amateur Arts (LKCA) as a researcher, head of the research department, policy analist and editor. He co-founded the European Network of Observato-ries in the Field of Arts and Cultural Education (ENO).

Jääskeläinen, TuulaTuula Jääskeläinen (M.Ed.) is a doctoral candidate in music education in the MuTri Doctoral School in the Sibelius Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki, and in the ArtsEqual Project and CERADA (Center for Educational Research and Academic Development in the Arts) in Finland.

Jörissen, BenjaminProfessor Dr. Benjamin Jörissen holds the Chair of Pedagogy with a Focus on Culture and Aesthetic Education at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg. His recent research especially focuses on meta-research in the fields of arts education, on international perspectives of research in arts education, and on the educational meanings and impacts of postdigital culture and media and on the transformations of cultural and aesthetic education.

Klepacki, LeopoldPD Dr. Leopold Klepacki works as a senior-researcher at the Chair of Pedagogy with a Focus on Culture and Aesthetic Education at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg. Currently he works on theories of aesthetic education in contexts of cultural transformations and on the relation between processes of passing on cultural traditions and processes of cultural transformation.

Klepacki, TanjaTanja Klepacki studierte Pädagogik, Psychologie sowie Neuere und Neuste Geschichte. Sie ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl für Pädagogik mit dem Schwerpunkt Kultur, ästhetische Bildung und Erziehung der Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) sowie Leiterin der Geschäftsstelle der Akademie für Schultheater und performative Bildung an der FAU. Ihre Arbeitsschwerpunkte liegen insbesondere in der Bereichen Kulturpädagogik, Ästhetische Bildung, Theatrale Bildung und Museumspädagogik.

Kulbok-Lattik, EggeDr. Egge Kulbok-Lattik is a cultural policy researcher and adviser to the prime minister of Estonia. Her research interests are related to the cultural sociology and sociology of arts with focus on the art education in the different political systems in Estonia and Europe.
Like every pedagogical field, the fields of aesthetics, arts and cultural education have been confronted with various transformational dynamics in recent decades. Transformation processes such as globalization, digitization or transculturalization not only characterize a change in social and cultural framework conditions, but also lead to changes in self-understanding, working methods, contents, and objectives in the research of these educational fields.The anthology "Spectra of Transformation" gathers a variety of perspectives on the question of the research on aesthetics, artistic and cultural education, which were discussed by international participants and speakers at the Winter School 2017 in Nuremberg.
Like every pedagogical field, the fields of aesthetic, arts and cultural education have been confronted with various transformational dynamics in recent decades. Transformation processes such as globalization, digitization or transculturalization not only characterize a change in social and cultural framework conditions, but also lead to changes in selfunderstanding, working methods, contents, and objectives in the research of these educational fields.The anthology "Spectra of Transformation" gathers key insights and reflections upon transformational dynamics which may deeply affect the future(s) of aesthetic, arts and cultural education. It provides a selection of recent research projects from eight European countries on various transformational phenomena in the fields of arts education, which were presented and discussed at a winter school held at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg in 2017.
