Marcus Banner begleitet seit etwa elf Jahren SAP-Einführungen und -Projekte. Nach seinen Anfängen als CO-Berater wechselte er in den Entwicklungssektor und war mehrere Jahre bei der Firma Itellium Systems & Services GmbH (ehemals IT von Karstadt-Quelle) für das Fachgebiet "SAP Technology Services" und für ein mehr als 20 Mitarbeiter umfassendes Technologie-Team verantwortlich, das er mit aufgebaut hat. Seine ersten Erfahrungen mit SAP NetWeaver konnte er bereits in der Ramp-Up-Phase der ersten Version bei der KarstadtQuelle AG sammeln. Seitdem erweiterte er sein Wissen zu den Komponenten SAP NetWeaver Process Integration und SAP NetWeaver Portal in zahlreichen Projekten als Berater und Projektleiter.
Aktuell ist Marcus Banner bei der Firma RealCore Consulting GmbH als Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung für den Geschäftsbereich "SAP Technology" verantwortlich.
