Grenze kann (nicht nur) heutzutage als ein komplexes, dynamisches und vieldimensionales Phanomen, das standigen (Ver-)Anderungen unterliegt, betrachtet werden. Es findet auch im Bereich der (Sprach-)Wissenschaft seine Anwendung, was die im vorliegenden Band gesammelten Beitrage bezeugen. Es werden u.a. textuelle, diskursive und terminologische Grenzziehungen thematisiert sowie kommunikative Aspekte des Phanomens Grenze kritisch hinterfragt. Daruber hinaus werden auch Aspekte der Grenze(n) im Kontext des immer aktueller werdenden Fluchtlingsdiskurses diskutiert.
